Julius was (more or less) born on a film set. He’s been surrounded by storytelling and visuals for as long as he can remember. He got his start early, directing music videos for various artists, and later added fashion and still photography to his repertoire.

His work blends surrealism, playfulness and a strong sense of world-building. Whether it’s moving images or stills, the goal is always the same: to transport the viewer somewhere else, to another time or place. Something dreamlike, cinematic and just a bit beyond reality. It’s also good to have him here, just so that he can show us how to be down with the kids.
